About
Elliot is a certified general appraiser in the State of Iowa. He trained with his father, Leo, a longtime farmer and founder of Ag Lender Consulting. A graduate of Iowa State University, he sailed the world with the US Navy for several years before returning home to work with his dad.
His education was completed through the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA), the Appraisal Institute, and The Moore Group, Inc. His education includes the following specialty education courses: Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions (UASFLA, also known as the “Yellow Book”), Eminent Domain, and Real Estate Damages.
In his free time, Elliot serves on the Board of Directors for the Wilson Performing Arts Center in Red Oak, as well as Technical Director for the Shenandoah Community Schools Musicals. He’s also an avid homebrewer.
